Low mood and Depression
Following on from the quote above Albert Camus goes on to say:
“…and that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
I’ve found this to be so true; not only with my clients, but also from my own experience with depression. Right now it may seem like it’s going to be impossible to feel differently. Yet with all my clients, I’ve witnessed that change is always possible.
You weren’t always like this, which means you can change too.
Overcoming depression is a journey. You could think of it like being stuck in a long dark tunnel – you can either sit there waiting to reach the end or put your foot down and together we’ll race to the light.
